Sincerely, I'd recommend upgrading to a 90 first. So far it is working out but Butters is still growing and may very well need a new home at some point.
How is the 2 part buffer working out for you Grins? I bought C-Balance a long time ago got about half way through the solution and then discontinued because my GSP was having some weird reaction to it. Every time I dosed it my GSP would close up. I was always careful to test first and dose into my sump, but still it happened, so I am curious about how it is going for you and what product you are using?
It is working well. I hope to have the numbers up where they need to be over the next few days. The product I'm using is a new one that is owned partly by a local sponsor of my club. Great guy, he was a club member before opening his own store which specializes in corals and tank bred clowns. Cool, well definitely keep us up to date on how it is going, or at least me, I am interested because from what research I have done, the two part solutions are supposed to be the most stable for marine ecosystems.
Fyi. I will be driving through your neck of the woods in a couple of weeks on the way to my in-laws cabin up in the mountains, please put a big sign on your house labeled GRINS HOUSE, we will wave as we are driving up I-26! I think it is I-26 anyways.

did you get a chance to take some readings of Phos, ALK?
Try to keep the Alk up around 3.5 meq/l
CA demands will change so test then dose.

If you are using DKH for ALK then anything above 10 will push CA under 400ppm. Nature of chemistry. No big deal, just keep upping CA until you get it where you want it.
Just don't boost PH, If ALK, CA, and PH all go high at once you will precipitate CA out.
Pretty much just monitor Alk, CA and don't worry or concern yourself with pH as it will naturally buffer itself.
Cool that PO4 is 0. You still probably have some unless you are testing with a digital chlorimeter for PO4. Hobby test kits are only so good.
