Will you help me with the quest for the west african mudskipper?

I bought a 20 gallon tank. It looks pretty big enough to keep 2 mudskippers in it. Hopefully, by next month, I'll stock it with stuff.
Can I keep my small alligator lizard in with the mudskippers?

That's a joke right?

Actually my dad bought the 20 gallon, because he is pretty cheap.
What land creatures would go well with the mudskippers?

I hope if you cancelled on this auction ( which this thread seems to hint at), you got one of your parents to explain that you did not understand that bidding is a serious contract.

Good luck with your mudskippers if you got them already or when you get them later.

Mudskippers are BRACKISH, so there are no land lizards or amphibians that can go with them as it will dehydrate them and kill them. If you are so bent on getting a Mudskipper, why can you not just give it a species tank?????? A 20g will barely work for 1 Skippy, NOT 2!!!! A 30-40 gallon is minimum for life so you will be already looking at upgrading just for one Skip. If I were you I would take people's advice here and not try and push it otherwise you will end up with dead animals and people will get tired of the Oh No posts.
Also, I find it highly rude that your dad was kind enough to buy you a tank yet you call him cheap! Have some respect for your parents and THANK HIM for being kind enough to buy you a tank!!!

Um the mudskipper never came. And why is a 20g to small for something that stays at just 6 inches?

Also I already know they are brackish if I was gonna put my lizard in with it I would get it a seperate water dish with freshwater in the tank.

Congrats Skippy! Your continual refusal to listen to anybody has led you to a very unique honor. You will be the first ever on my ignore list. I grieve for any living creature that you come into contact with.
