I woke up this morning to find a dead kuhli. I had to head out right then so I removed him. When I got back at 5, I did an 80% WC. Now, one of the kuhlis is swimming around, upsidedown, dashing up to breath at the surface, and breathing irregularly. I took a short video, which I'll upload in a minute.
The dead kuhli this morning looked fine, but had small brown spots along its belly.
Please help, I love my kuhlis and I'm really upset.
:help:

Hmmm... sounds like some viral disease to me.
What sized aquarium do you have and how may fish.

Hmm... I have not heard of such a thing happening in a normal freshwater community aquarium before. I'd call a pet shop or ask on the chat room.

how are the other 3 kuhlis??? Have how old is your aquarium? I'm thinking the gasping for air part might ammonia problem.

:( He just passed away. No spots at all on this guy. No unusual spots, streaks or colors. I'm so upset and confused...
What happened? Why 2 in one day? Are the rest going to die???
:(

It's hard to say like I said I don't know of any disease with brown markings. but can you please answer my questions in the last section, they're important.

3 other are not in sight right now. The tank has been running for a month or so now, and should be fully cycled. I had just done an 80% WC, so it shouldn't have been ammo. My first thought was that I may not have added the water conditioner, although I was sure I had, so I dumped more in. Obviously it didn't help. :(
