Mafia 62- The Play

I'm not comfortable with people who go so far as to say they trust certain players on Day 2.

I don't care if you go down with a fight, in fact, I hope you do. It helps when a lynch candidate, if innocent, digs stuff up before they die rather than do nothing or get defensive. The only problem is that it seems like instead you may be trying to bring down some potential innocents with you.

Eh... thanks I guess but for some reason this does more to alarm me than console me. If I were to be Hit next nightfall would you then say, awww man see I thought he was Innocent, sucks to lose him. When I'm trusted, I always feel like I'm the next to go.

Yeah Pappy nailed it for me here. Lab seems to be finding someone to latch on to.

So you're sorry that I said I trusted you??? I don't understand that. You've seemed pro town enough to me that At this point I would not vote to lynch you unless something majorly changed. The town was pretty good at picking innocents last time, I thought the idea of putting out who we trusted again was valid so I put mine out there. Is anyone else going to do so? Is the format of this game so different that it makes a most trusted list a bad idea? If so, I fell for it. I'm not latching on to anyone. I'm trusting people based on their logic and on what seem to be valid arguments.

Absolutely not. We're barely into the game, how can you pick out 3-4 players out of the 13 (or whatever the number is) possible who you trust? Last game was smaller and I dont think any innocent lists came up until Ice had already taken out a couple mafia.

Now there are obviously a bunch of people who I wouldnt put up for a lynch at this point but I'm no where near deeming those people trustworthy...

And its funny when you say anything last game helped the town since you were the one who fooled everyone into believing you were innocent.

Here are 2 more that say Ag should have claimed Detective. Really would anyone have believed him?

Dawg?
Z?
Lab?

Would you have believed him? And Z since you're the only one of the 3 to be on Ag where would your vote have moved to if you answer yes.

And this means what to you?
I probably wouldn't have believed him. But it would have been interesting if no one challenged the role claim. As you said, for me it doesn't matter as I wasn't voting for him anyway.

The fact you voted for ag first doesn't mean a whole lot, but I did want to note it.

See, this is where I suck at this game when I have a non communicating role. Without anyone to bounce ideas off of I tend to throw any/every thought I have out there. I'm much better at this game when I can communicate. I did notice I'm apparently better at muddying the waters when I'm not trying to. If y'all think it's better for the town I'll just shut up since the last thing I want to do is make it easier for the mafia to win.

Actually I have to shut up now as I have a plane to board in a few.

I'm not looking one way and voting another. I'm looking both ways, if I had two votes I'd give one to both jpap and Noods. And I'm not attempting to blame jpap for lynching the detective, I am blaming jpap for the results of this nights lynch. (Also blame Ag some as he should have defended himself or even revealed he was detective).

I have to agree with this. If AG revealed himself the Doc could have protected from the hit. The Town lost a big PR last night. Hopefully we can recover from it.

I need to do some rereading before I put a list of suspects out there and I'm not around much today so I'll try to post something thia afternoon or evening if I can.

Ag was lynched not hit. Nothing the Dr could have done about it and I doubt any of us would have believed him.

I want to look back because I know someone else said something similar. I think you guys might be trying to put something into the Drs head to have them come out. The Dr can't protect themselves so that would be a huge mistake.

I would not have believed Ag if he would have came out as the detective. He had no way to prove it. I think Ag should have put up some sort of aurguement. I don't think coming out would have saved him.

I think it is odd that dawg thinks that Ag was hit or could have been protected by the doctor. Besides Lab_Rat, no one really has said much about dawg, that I remember. Is this an attempt to have us think that since dawg didn't know who was hit he had nothing to do with it?

Dawg isn't one to skim.

I couldn't find another post about the doc, but I do skim. :)

The only one I have seen put anything in the docs head has been Ice. I am sure Ice confused the heck out of the doc.

Let me clarify my thinking here. I know Ag wasn't hit. But if someone role claims most of the time people would give them the benefit of the doubt so as not to make a major mistake. The doc would have to protect them from the hit because if the role was claimed and votes were backed off the mafia would surely want to hit the det.

For your other question Ice it's pretty pointless because my vote was not on Ag. If it was on Ag I would have given him the benefit of the doubt. Plus if no one else comes out claiming the role it's probably true. I would have rather gone after another possible mafia than to risk lynching the det. It actually surprised me to see that you still would have lynched someone claiming to be the det.

I never said anything about the doc coming out. If the det knew they were going to be lynched anyway what could it hurt for the det to come out and possibly save themselves????????

This has been clarified. I think it's odd that both you and Ice think that since the det knew they were being lynched anyway that coming out and even having a remote possibility of saving themselves wouldn't be a good idea. You both would have come out to save yourself if you were the det and in the same position...and you both know it.
