I adopted this little guy from someone who had been keeping him in a "beta bowl" (vase, actually) and realized that it was too small for him. He made it through acclimation and is in QT in a 5 gallon hex (not ideal, but all I had available).
Hoping for three things:
#1 - Advice or reassurance regarding his tendency to lean to one side when resting. (See last pic.) He seems fine when he swims (though that isn't all that often).
#2 - Anyone in southern NH or northern Mass have a school of C. aeneus that could use one more? He'd be happier with friends and I don't really have space to get more. I'd be happy to QT him for a while first.
#3 - Any suggestions for helping him feel more comfortable in the absence of a school?
