Mafia Games....

OK, I think I'll run the one Noods suggested. I had one I was going to try out, but I think I'll wait for another time for it. I would like all to read and suggest away.

While the town’s members have been pre-occupied with ridding AC Ville of the Mafia scourge, even more devious plans have been in the works. While they weren’t focused on the day-to-day matters of the town a corrupt Councilman and his brother the Sheriff have seized control and in a daring midnight raid rounded up all those that they think would make waves. They’ve shuttled all the potential troublemakers to the AC Ville Penitentiary where the Warden has promised to“take care” of any subversives.

Welcome everyone to the Mafia #40: The AC Ville Penitentiary!

Roles:

-Innocent: Your job is to try to shank all the Snitches.

-The Underground: Is composed of the Medic, the Spy, and One innocent that will be recruited on Night One. Before night one the Medic & Spy must email or PM me their top 3 choices. I will randomly choose which is selected.

Medic: You have the ability to protect someone each night, but cannot protect yourself.

Spy: You have the power to investigate once per night to find someone’s true identity. Snitches will appear innocent on night 1.

-Snitches: You were planted by the corrupt Warden to keep an eye out and to inform him each night of who should be beaten to death
by the Guards. Before night, the snitches must email or PM me their top 2 choices for a beating. I will randomly choose which is selected. You have the power to investigate once per night to find someone’s true identity. Before night, the snitches must email or PM me their top 2 choices for investigation. Members of the Underground will appear innocent on night 1.

Solitary: Each night, one person that was a choice for investigation, hit, or selection (night one only), will be placed into solitary confinement for 12 hours (real-time) and will not be allowed to post during that period of time.
The person confined will not be announced. Upon return to the population, the person placed into solitary cannot confirm that they were in fact in solitary. To do so, will result in a very embarrassing departure from the prison.
The player placed into solitary will show as an Innocent for any investigations on the same night.

-The Shanking
-The Medic’s Protection
-The Beat Down
-Solitary
-Investigations
-Applicable Recruitment (Night 1 only)


The Underground & the Snitches can communicate amongst themselves outside of the thread.

Each innocent (Except Underground Members) has ONE investigation to use. Snitches will appear innocent on night 1.

How to win the game:

If all the Snitches are killed, the innocents win.

If the Snitches outnumber the innocents, the Snitches win.
 
Sorry G, things have gotten so hectic IRL that I might even have to postpone the game I am scheduled to mod. I hope not but RL has to be dealt with first. (I can't believe I just said that)

I don't remember how this worked in the original game.

Also I'd get rid of the innocents getting an invest.

The original game was to much in favor of the innocents and the only reason the snitches won were because of UDs.

Yeah, I was thinking that about the innocent invests.

Actually I didn't mean to take that out, I like that rule and will be putting it back in!! I must of just copy/pasted the wrong thing LMAO!
 
The solitary thing is something I was wondering about too, should it be a random person or should it be kept as a person that was a invest, hit?? Should it happen each day...I think that would be to much and too obvious, or just randomly?

Solitary was stupid IMO. Unless it somehow negates a vote I don't really see the purpose. Maybe you could randomly choose a player from either team to be able to PM you and block a players vote. You could say so and so had their vote blocked after night falls.
 
Awww, JM!!

Ok, did it really serve any purpose? I'm thinking about taking it out, I personally see no reason/purpose for it.

Also, the Underground innocent....would it be good/bad to leave that in, that is something else I was thinking of taking out or would that be unfair?
