Mafia #77 Game thread- Back to the basics

heck...it could be Lab, Ice, Dawg and Razz by that logic....

S4S has some interesting posts, iirc he said he has watched a few games or played on another forum so i guess he wouldn't be a noob.

So far everyone who has been questioned has backed off and quited down it seems

We discussed this earlier, it was Haydn who'd read some of the prior games, not S4S.

If Pap hand picked roles, I doubt he would have picked according to something so obvious. Then with that thought in mind, if he had hand picked, would the entire team really make such an obvious ambush? Yes, Saltie is a new and to show such arrogance and confidence is peculiar and quite scummy and a good enough reason to vote for, but what even makes it more obvious is his next post. As a noob and in a desperate scuttle to save his skin, he mentions UN to try and bring him down with him. How does he even know anyone was talking to him in the first place? What I find quite interesting in your post Ice is that instead of looking at Salties incredibly obvious scum slip, you go past that and try to highlight on the folks who pointed this slip out. Kinda like trying to throw smoke in the mirror type thing.

Dawg has the title "Severum Mafia Don" (and has had that title for a while). I could totally see jpap picking him for Don this game for that reason alone.

Really Labby? Wow... just when I think I've seen it all... :shakehead: To go and say that Ice's theory is a stretch and then to go and vote Dawg for this is kind of silly, isn't it? Why is Ice's thought a stretch but then yours so logical? Yours even ends in a solid vote.


I guess what I am having a problem with is why everyone is trying to figure out how pap hand picked the roles and trying to match that thought up with who is scum instesd of looking at posts that are scummy in themselves.

I know from my experience that it would not be unreasonable to think Dawg was picked as Don by jpap based on his title line. I also find it interesting that Ice jumps in quickly to try and discredit that thought, then is gone when I mention that maybe he is the snitch.

My other option for the vote so far is S4S, but I'd hate to vote a noob day 1 (though what he's posted is very hard to overlook). Piranha and UN had some interesting interactions as well.

Labby, you really think your theory on Dawg holds more ground than anyone else's posts? You are going solely off the idea that Pap hand picked the roles. As JM mentioned, you could also be held accountable for being scum with that theory so what gives?

wow... I didn't even realize there tas a Haydn in the game lol
 
what gives meaning, why would you be so adament on pappy hand picking over the thought that the roles are random? I guess I am wondering why you are so dead set on the hand picking being the end all to be all.

I know I'm having flashbacks to the Christmas game where afterwords jpap admitted to handpicking roles:

The Red Severum = Santa (red santa suit)
Noods = Rudolph (corgi as avatar dressed in reindeer antlers)
ZSandmann = Frosty the snowman
Ice = Grinch (because according to jpap Ice is a grinch :laugh: )

So is it now unreasonable to think the following for this game?
Dawg = Don (severum mafia don title)
Ice = snitch (avatar has "snitch" in it)

that could be a good theory but who is to say that you aren't the snitch because of your member name?
