I've been going back and looking as JS because he is still one that stands out big time to me.....
I think we should focus on making a list of a few people who we think could be mafia and then go from there.
Anyone else think rich might be mafia? I just think there is something about the way he is posting but I just can't put my finger on it. But I could be completely wrong.
Now this was from the very start of the game...at that point Rich had only posted a few times, he (JS) kinda just draws Richs name out of nowhere.
Like I said I could be completely wrong about rich. This is also my first game so everything I say is only based on what I have learned from reading the previous mafia game thread and the few hours I have been playing so far today.
I am wondering what in the "previous" mafia game made him say Rich? Also remember the part about reading the previous game....
I have an idea. I think everyone should make a list of their top three people (only three because it is still early in the game and hard to tell who is mafia) suspected to be mafia and then we can look at all of the lists and see who turns up the most.
I know it's early in the game but it could give us something useful.
My list (in no particular order): FF, Ice, LG. The last one (LG) is only a guess.
These two posts, make me feel he was wanting a feel for others thoughts of who could be mafia...yes we need to do that, but I am feeling more like the MAFIA wanted to know who we were looking at.
Now Rich is off his list, and I am randomly thrown on. Again, what about me made him pick my name. So far he has drawn Rich and my names (2 that are commonly thrown around in games and cases get built easily on).
FF has been posting oddly. Almost as if he keeps slipping up but then tries to cover it up by saying he was just being FF.
Ice has been seeming overly helpful but as Kash pointed out, some of his theories/ideas (specifically about what would happen if a noob became gunslinger) seem to stand out as odd.
LG was only a random guess because I needed a third person to add to my list.
Here, he thinks Ice because "Kash" pointed it out...oh and he admits I was just random, but why me over any other player in the game?
Anyone have any more thoughts?

Well 2 posts later....no one has answered so he adds it yet again.
When I suggested rich I was really just trying to throw an idea out there to get the game moving and try to help the town. I realize now that I was probably wrong when I suspected him
I had actually forgotten I had already suggested making a list so I thought I was posting a new idea.
The difference is FF was saying things that I thought could be indicative of whether or not he was a mafia or not and then when he was questioned about it he would say that he was just being FF. I however was saying ideas as to who I thought might be mafia and when people questioned me about it I realized I could be wrong so I said just that. The newb part of it was because I wanted to explain that I am new to this game and I don't have much experience. I realize now that the newb part was probably unnecessary.
I posted that a second time simply to keep the thread moving.
I assure you I have not been coached. I am not part of the mafia so I can't have been coached by them. Any coaching would have had to happen in the game thread for all to see.
Now this one really stood out to me, and it did when he first posted it. For me it was more the "color coding" that got my attention. His first game and already he is color coding?
Three just sounded like a good number. I do also have a bit of a gut feel as well.
Oh, he put my name because 3 sounded like a good number?
I didn't mention the gut felling before because I thought it was too insignificant.
But random and needing 3 names is significant I spose.
I feel I should mention that after I posted about reading one game I also read another game. As you requested I will not comment on my innocence or lack thereof.
Now for yet another "back peddling" thought, now he states he has read other games too.
