The tank has been doing really well. The plants have filled in nicely and the fish are growing. It's starting to get a little tight. I removed some of the calico plecos to help with the bioload.

I also added 9 blue eyed killis for dithers. These are AWESOME fish. They look amazing in a planted tank. I lost a lot of them after a routine water change though. I only have 4 left so I moved them to another tank.

My white calvus bred but ended up abandoning the nesting spot. There was just too much going on in the tank for them to feel comfortable.

I'm sorry about what happened with the white calvus. What is the scientific name of those blue eyed killies?

Aplocheilichthys normani, also known as norman's lampeye.

Nope, it's a magical place nestled between Wisconsin and Illinois. Rarely seen. Even less often spoken of.
