I think he is trying here. I commend you for making this thread. I would highly recommend you do something about the discus - those stunted fish are really only suitable for giveaway, and good luck finding a taker that isn't completely clueless as to their care. So in the long run, euthanasia via clove oil is probably the most sensible thing to do. BTW, if you don't have clove oil, IMO it is a must to keep with your fishkeeping supplies. There is nothing more humane for euthanazing fish, and you do not need much if you use it properly.
Good luck to you. I am glad you are starting to see the error in your ways....although, I think you are assuming that because you live in an urban area that getting rid of those angelfish fry will be no problem. You have to have a plan for all those fry!! If you have a good rapport with an LFS, they may take some but likely not all. The market is saturated with garden variety angelfish. Your best bet would be to ship them locally and to learn how to ship properly, if you don't already know (although you said you sold $200 worth of fish, so you may well know).
And yes, I agree - spending $60 for a dime sized discus was completely crazy. I would get rid of all but this one and grow it out to a sellable size! Maybe get your money back?
