Cories and rams do not go well together long term. It can work in the short run but soon you'll find the random cory dead. They're too stupid to get out of the rams' territories ime. FF, iirc you haven't had rams but for a month or so, and they've been sick during that time so that is prob why you're saying they're fine together.
I also would make the suggestion, TheFishBoss, that you think a lot harder about suggesting stock to other people until you've got a handle on what a properly stocked tank looks like yourself. I've seen you suggest some very incompatible fish to people in the past several weeks. A new person posting here for the first time looking for advice doesn't know how experienced YOU are and could end up taking your advice and putting incompatible fish together, or over stocking their tank. Don't make suggestions to others unless you are absolutely confident in your abilities and advice and could defend your reasoning if something goes wrong.
i wonder why fishboss hasnt said anything. i hope he idnt decide to take a break from the forum when he's got these problems on his hands.
High school isn't nearly as bad as they make it out to be, I'm in all honors and I had plenty of spare time so I wouldn't worry about it impacting your fish keeping too much.
I agree with RB on going down to the single 72, I've enjoyed my tanks a lot more now that I've focused more on improving what I already have (new plants, better equipment before new tanks/fish). By having less tanks, I tend enjoy my tanks a lot more and notice smaller details in them.
Fishboss, where are you in SJ? Dolphin Pet Village may be able to help you rehome or even buy some of your fishies from you. If you can't find a new home for the stunted discus then the owner of Aquatic Lifeforms in Sunnyvale often takes fish that have gotten too big for their owners free of charge and gives them a home. He's a really, really great guy. It's not ideal, but maybe one of these stores can help you sort out your issues.

Never claimed to be an expert. Personally, I think there are other factors, one being that the corys A)outnumber the rams 3:1, B)are larger then my 2 GBR, and C)were in the tank first. Plus the large amount of cover and the fact that I haven't even seen the rams making territories yet (they're all over the tank) I think the corys will be okay. However, I will keep an eye on it, and if I see cory-harming danger I will figure something out. Maybe put the Bolivian or the Rams into my 20 Tacky.
I second this, but would also like to note that in some cases (like mine) I prefer an active tank, which is generally a little overstocked. I comppensate by over filtering and more WC's. However, that does not mean he can give bad stocking suggestions.
You know, it's about 11:30 here, and he wakes up way before I do (least, he's always on before me) so he's probably sleeping for the night. Time zones and all that.
Fishboss, I highly recomend you listen to advice. If you care for your fish as much as you claim then you will do what is best for them, even if that means giving them away.

I am a good boyDo you have a job? Trouble with maths? English? School in general? A lot of factors go into how much effort school takes. To get strait A's like you I would be forever working, and I have a job now at nigfht, so I have even less time to work. From 4 to 10, AKA, 1 and a half hours of time to get ready, take care of fish, and relax a little before I work. So yea... you may have it easy, but it gets harder.... and many factors play into it. That said, I still manage to make time for my fishes, though it is summer so no school yet.
For me, first priority would be finding new homes for the discus and the fry and then focus on the stocking issues. That will give you time to really think about which fish you want to keep and which fish are more expendable, for lack of a better term.
this sounds pretty bad. never buy a fish before having somewhere for it to go!! and if rams are anything like cockatoo apistos your corys wont make it. mine relentlesly ran my corys around the tank until i couldnt look at it anymore and had to move them. i think you should start searching for pleny of 20 gallon longs and 55 gallons. id make the 55's for angels, the 72 for discus (if you dont give them away), and 20 gallons for everybody else.saying that you can run out and buy a 20 gallon is not enough. sorry to say it but youve got a HUGE problem on your hands.
