just watch it. dose stress coat and probably melafix to help healing. you need to make sure it doesnt get infected. youll need to keep params stable.

yeah, i am:)

i do have melafix, but i prefer to wait until its necessary, so far it is fine, eating, but a bit disoriented, if this continues, i might have to eutha. it humanely as even meds won't help its eyesight

GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOT A 29G AT PETCO THIS EVENING FOR $25.99:) $1 PER GALLON SALE, AND I HAD THIS COUPON;)

SO EXCITED!:)

the angelfish pair will go in here, the 20G will be a pleco breeding tank, and the 10G as the shrimp tank. And the tote will go in the garage running for a quarantine;)

might pick up a 20L on sat. too for $20 at petco.

What happened to "no more tanks"? I would use the 20 as a QT tank because you can see in it better. The 29 is a good angel tank, is it tall or long? Mine's tall, so it makes a good angel tank.

Just because its eating, doesn't mean its 'fine' if its covered with injuries and has lost an eye, then you seriously just need to get medication and keep up with water changes!!!!!

*facepalm* remember "oh I am getting no more tanks" ? seriously, since things started going wrong you have been doing the oppposite of what you said you would do. The main reason you are having this many problems is because of one thing. You aren't listening. There is only 2-3 people replying in this thread now because they have either givin up helping you or just don't want to. I am sorry if I come across angry but so far your street cred for being a breeder is going massively down hill the now. I know we all have bad times in the tanks, but when it reaches a stage where you resort to buying more tanks to sort out problems in others it becomes serious.

sorry :(

i really dont see a problem with buying more tanks other then yall wanna argue with him and put him down. as long as he gets no other fish its fine. its not his fault he didnt know about the angels but he does need to use the melafix and do water changes.

i think i said NO more fish, or plants, not tanks, and for the tanks, i said that i can't get anymore at the moment, and i have psoted like 40 posts talking about getting new tanks, i have NEVER said no more tanks, more tanks would actually be good, as they would solve my overstocking problem, idk how more tanks can be bad

all i said was no more fish OR plants

i broke that rule once with free fish, but nothing else

NO more fish until thxgiving;)

idk where u guys are getting the no more tanks from, maybe i posted that saying thats what my dad said, but he was okay with this as you can't beat $25 new for a 29G tank anywere

i understand, but i think u interpreted my whole quote wrong, i have never said no more tanks

you guys have said that if i was going to have these fish, i should be having more tanks with appropriate space

when i get more tanks, and solve my stocking problem, u guys get angry, im confused........lol

i have never seen a 29G long, mines tall btw, 30"X18"X12.5" i think

They're not putting him down. They're giving their own opinions/advice why he shouldn't get anymore tanks.

He needs to stop getting tanks and figure out what is wrong with his fish because more tanks isn't going to solve his other problems. Overstocking, yes it should help with proper cycling. He should focus on what he has now and understand why certain things are happening to his fish and how to stop it now and in future stock. You can't solve your problems with more tanks. If he chooses to ignore it, it's fine. We can't really do anything but he may get a bad rep once he starts breeding/selling or putting off certain people who may have seen the thread. My first and top advice is figure out what is happening to your stock. Please don't pass the fish on to new buyers when you haven't figured out anything because you want new stock in your tank(s). Start on one tank. Let it establish. Know and understand that tank before moving on to a new tank. Sure, ask questions you may not know but an impulse buy is just bad and wrong, for the fish who doesn't have a choice. Always plan first before buying. You're just making it worst for the fish if you're not prepared.

Plus, why are you putting the fish in a tote? In my opinion, totes are only good to use if you want your fish outside, raising fry, or as a quarantine, not as a permanent home.

the tote is the quarantine......;)

currently also, it only has a few shrimp in it which were used to sort of mini-cycle, as i used 1/2 of the water from the 72G.

I agree with understanding, and i agree with solving my current problems, but i see no problems created with this purchase, i actually solved the stocking problem in the 72G. There are no more possible breeding pairs left in there except corys. I'm calling the breeding tanks breeding tanks because i plan to breed, but not now as i am more focused on the 72G and baby discus. I do have a few questions.

If it were you, how would you split up all these fish, and if necessary, what would you sell. ALL tanks have 2X-4X the filtration necessary, here is a list of fish and tanks
