I should also amend my take on Wizard. I went back to reread his posts... not because I questioned his scumminess or to find evidence.... mainly because there was something that seemed genuine about his responses to me today. I didn't actually expect that from him. Wizard remained adamant that I wasn't looking at him fairly. So I figured I'd double-check.



That red part being the basis of my suspicions.... what I found as I actually reread Wizard's posts (as he asked me to do countless times) was that he wasn't being as unreasonable in his interaction with AAF as I remembered it.

I also noticed that Wizard questioned Zaffy a bit more thoroughly than I remembered. More so, than I imagine he would have just for distancing purposes.

This drops Wizard down a tad from the "must be scum" along with Dawg/Zaffy zone down to the "leaning scum/but undecided" area of my list.

Amazing, funny what you can find when you actually read what has been posted.

A lot has been said today and I guess I find the interactions between Wiz and Kash and Kash and Dawg a bit much. Much meaning I need to look more into them but it is 1:30 here and I have an early start tomorrow.

I will look more into things tomorrow during the day sometime. I have a vet appointment to get my boys bandages redressed at noon so it will be sometime after that. He is wearing a tie-dyed shirt to keep him from licking his stitches so I am eager to see the vets reaction to it.... not sure if she will find it funny or inconvenient, but it keeps him from licking and keeps the area clean... we shall see.

You had time to make this post but still have yet to kick a bush. I don't understand how people can think that just by posting they will appear to be playing and appear helpful.

I looked into Dun's posts a little more. I'm not feeling any better about him.

1) The biggest thing that stands out to me is the constant reference to the last game. This seems to me like a very subtle way to say "so I must be innocent" without coming out and saying it. 2) Also, I've come to think of Dun as a rational, thoughtful, well spoken kind of guy. This game seems to be more... gamey than rational or thoughtful.

And you put LG in the lead, until I was tied with her. Was this solely because of what she did last game? If so, then it just seems like a bit of a bad reason to vote someone. JMO.

yup... is that a problem for a N1 vote? she showed up innocent, which is horrible for us with rich getting hit too, but she was not only innocent, but the most important innocent PR in the last game and look how well that went.

now let's talk about bad reasons, shall we? i hope for your sake you have an air tight reason for voting UN N1 again.

This is a numbers game, you very well know that. It's stupid to not save a teammate from a coin flip if you can possibly do so without arising suspicion. I don't see why you think they wouldn't make a couple easy, unsuspicious moves to keep him from a coin toss.

4) For Dun to duck in and duck out like he has this game seems a bit strange to me combined with the lack of real content in most of his posts. I think if he were really short on time, the posts he did make would be way more critical and useful. Most of what he's put out there so far is rl excuses, and just enough conversation to try to blend in. That, to me is a Dun who doesn't really want to be looked at. If he were really "all caught up" and working for the good guys, he'd have had more to say.

Great game,loved the final 4 minutes. Pat game was over as soon as it started.....

I'm kind of surprised JB and Dawg didn't get the reference. I'm actually interested in what their 1st thoughts were when they read the headline.

Not sure what you mean here Dun... You agree with Labs post enough to vote me but you don't agree with it. She voted me because she thought scum would make a move to protect FF, but you say any move would be suspicious as I said. So if you agree with me then why did you vote with her?

the part i agreed with is bolded for emphasis. click on each post if you'd like to check for accuracy. i believed at the time that labby had made a good point worthy of my vote.

after a sucky night where we lost 3 teammates, we (I) now know better thanks to the reporter. going to have to reread tomorrow and come up with a new set of suspects, maybe.

5) I think this post must have taken some work... getting the formatting right so that every post is clickable... Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that. But why put all that time into defending yourself? In my mind, this is Dun covering tracks instead of thinking critically about the game. He's playing strategy instead of investigation.

Dun another question....I know Day 1 is a crapshoot and most of the votes are jokes unless something serious arises, but what made you put a joke vote on LG to push her into the lead?

it's a competitive game. i'm a guy with a competitive nature. she and JP pushed until i was railroaded last game... and i was innocent. it wasn't a joke. didn't turn out well, though, but how was i to know?

actually, now that i think about it, i'm not sure i've voted once in any of the games i've played unless it was to put someone in the lead. whatever that's worth...

i'm sorry i haven't been much help. i knew i was voting LG before the game started, so i slacked off for the first nightfall. that was kind of scummy looking, i guess. after that, it's been a hectic couple days. unfortunately, due to stress sleeping last night wasn't useful at all so i'm pushing delirious ATM and i have to be up and chasing kids soon. i dunno how much i'll be on today, either. i'm exhausted. due to my inactivity, i couldn't blame you guys for lynching me tonight if you felt the need. i guess them's the breaks. i just hope the town survives to see another day. last game didn't go so well.

6) I'm not doubting that you're busy, and stress sucks, I can totally relate. But this post almost leaves a trail. Dun says he knew he was going to vote G before the game even started. That's strategy there. The rest is just defense and yet another reference to last game.

7) So you kind of call out Noods, Wiz and Zaffy for something that's in the end pretty excusable and easy to explain. After everything that's gone on by the time of this post, a Dun working for the good guys would have something more to say. If I'm remembering right, he pretty much ignored a direct question from Ice in the mean time.

First, I thought FF would be back in time to vote. It was his absence that helped convince me he was scum. It is not unheard of for someone who is scum to lay low, hope to convince he will UD, then save his bacon by voting just before night fall. He did show up to vote just after night was called

Second, luckily, the lynch comes before the UD. My next suspect in line was Ice. If I had switched, and we can trust the headline which I don't see why we can't. Then Ice would have been lynched and we would have lost 4 innocents instead of three last night.

Would you have preferred that result over the one we got?.

in a voting sense, he did UD, though since he didn't vote until after nightfall... and he was innocent. i suspect him voting late might have been to cover his rear with as little heat as possible. i somehow still remember those days. (my kids might help with that) when the philosophy was rather do it and pay for it later than aks permission and never get to do it...

so your first instinct was a townie PR and your second instinct was ice as well? it seems by your suspicions that the whole ice/FF thing might have distracted from the game? maybe pointed a radar?

while your math might be correct... except i don't know what that whole DR thing was... i assume a hit gone wrong on the scum teams part? might have been 5. however,

i admit, it was harder for me to focus on the game at that point. i think you have a little, too in a way. i don't like voting FF for something unrelated, though. he'll likely just oust himself as to his true alliance eventually, anyway.

Rather than looking at who kept their vote on a UD I think we should look at who voted confirmed innocents both nights. I think we have a better chance of finding scum that way.

Reading through the game, it appears as though your bush kicking was directed mainly at AAF, but not kicking too hard. Is this so you can appear to be helpful without actually being helpful?

I don't know about Dawg or Ice, it seems like they're trying to get inside FF's head. That's a one way trip to crazy town.

JB makes me wonder too, his vote fell on FF yesterday, and today he's playing devils advocate for him.

as far as FF, He's planted his foot so firmly in his mouth so many times I'm not really sure what to think about his alleged slip.

Now this is interesting. The way this reads to me, and correct me if I am wrong Zaffy, you weren't so sure that FF did slip. We now know that he didn't by the way. However, you were the kill vote on him.

Noodles, while Zaffy's bush kicking hasn't been anything to really root out scum, he has still questioned more than you. You stated that you were nervous about leaving your vote on FF because you thought he would Ud, yet did not move it like you said you would. Why is that?

The only questioning of players that I could find in your posts was to ask why my vote wasn't on FF. Again, why is that?

What I would like to know, from everyone, are their thoughts on those who voted t2o confirmed innocents.

AAF, to be honest, I do believe that it was a fluke that he did that. From what I have seen in the game I believe that he is actually trying to get a grasp and learn to be helpful. I know that I went back and forth with him this morning but, I am hoping it helps him to learn how players view things and question others.

Zaffy, I am not getting all warm and fuzzy about you right now. I have posted my concerns and questions. One final question I have for you is you posted you think Dun is scum but your vote is on AAF. Why?

i want to clarify this statement a bit...

despite the actions/discussion that didn't belong in the game by both parties, it was extremely obvious that FF was not coming back to vote in time.

when i bolded "both parties" it was to emphasize the idea that had ice not posted back so bluntly, i think FF would have thought more along the lines of a teenager getting away with something and thus more free to post during actual gameplay at some point. as opposed to ice posting back and then FF feeling a little intimidated, being reluctant, etc..

Voting innocents both nights - My vote on Rich was a joke vote and he was not in any danger of getting lynched. My vote for FF on night two - he was at the top of my meager list at the time and I completely expected him to pop in at the last minute and make a vote. If I did move my vote my only other options, besides a singleton vote, would have been for Ice, which i did/do not see him as scum or Kash which would have forced a tie between her and Ice. I felt better about leaving my vote on FF. Obviously I was wrong.

My thoughts on players:

Labby - not sure - possibly innocent
AAF- seems easily flustered but could lean him either way
DD - not sure, not enough posting to determine
Ice - duh!
Zaffy - leaning scum. the exchanges between he and Kash are interesting
Wiz - leaning innocent
Kash - not sure but could easily lean her scum. she is a tricky one.
Dawg - leaning innocent
Dun - not sure. have not played with him before.
JB - leaning innocent
Noods - adorable and thoroughly enjoying the playoffs with the boys and too much beer. ;-) (my liver is grateful there are no games today!)

I will definitely take the time today to go back over everything and see what sticks out the most to me and post my thoughts.

I never said Kash went from Scum to Innocent. I said my impression of her after she didn't bite was leaning innocent. Remember my original reason for voting Kash was her low posting then she jumped on and started posting like mad after I called her out. Sounded to me like something a scum would do. So I went after her to see if she would bite. I have done this in the past and it does seem to work depending on the player. If you don't buy it I don't know what to tell you.

Went back to review some posts. Now I'm ready.

What a crap load of, well... crap. Other than a quick joke and this post addressing his 180 reversal on me, Dawg had very little to add to an active thread today. I do not believe his explanation for retracting his vote on me. I also don't believe he seriously holds Zaffy as a real suspect "close to the top" of his list.

I was wondering if you would jump to vote me when I went after you the first time around...but I see from this that you were waiting to see what others thoughts on me were. Many have said they are leaning me scummy and it seems like you wanted that back-up before you placed your vote. Guess my impression from you yesterday was wrong.

Ok. Let me start off by saying that this is much more the type of post I would expect to see.

It's not about turns. I point out the things I see. And the things that I've seen so far, combined with my interpretation of them point to you being scum. I get that you're busy, and I get the lack of sleep thing. But it just doesn't sit right with me. My point about your post wasn't even really about how long it took in actual time. My point was that you put more effort into that post than probably all your other posts combined. You even went as far as to say "go ahead and check it for accuracy". This to me points to someone trying to look as clean as possible under any scrutiny.

Yes, there was a tone in my response to Dawg. It was sarcasm (you can always recognize it, 'cause it kind of smells like kettle corn). I pretty clearly stated that I didn't want to vote for either of them. If you don't believe that I felt that way, look at where my vote stayed. I don't get where you see "Ice vs FF" in my posts. Again (I think Dawg brought this up earlier), I'm not talking about knowing anyone's role. I'm talking about following my instincts because at that time there was a pretty severe lack of any real reason to vote anyone. I don't have to know someone's role to know that I wasn't ready to vote for them. Again, you're stretching to find that in my post.
