So do you consider me unhelpful to the town then?Oh and how odd is it that Labby considers anyone as being unhelpful for the town without having herself in that category for the day *shrugs*...
g/o hope your dog is ok. g/o
So do you consider me unhelpful to the town then?Oh and how odd is it that Labby considers anyone as being unhelpful for the town without having herself in that category for the day *shrugs*...
I should also amend my take on Wizard. I went back to reread his posts... not because I questioned his scumminess or to find evidence.... mainly because there was something that seemed genuine about his responses to me today. I didn't actually expect that from him. Wizard remained adamant that I wasn't looking at him fairly. So I figured I'd double-check.
That red part being the basis of my suspicions.... what I found as I actually reread Wizard's posts (as he asked me to do countless times) was that he wasn't being as unreasonable in his interaction with AAF as I remembered it.
I also noticed that Wizard questioned Zaffy a bit more thoroughly than I remembered. More so, than I imagine he would have just for distancing purposes.
This drops Wizard down a tad from the "must be scum" along with Dawg/Zaffy zone down to the "leaning scum/but undecided" area of my list.
A lot has been said today and I guess I find the interactions between Wiz and Kash and Kash and Dawg a bit much. Much meaning I need to look more into them but it is 1:30 here and I have an early start tomorrow.
Oh and how odd is it that Labby considers anyone as being unhelpful for the town without having herself in that category for the day *shrugs*...
I will look more into things tomorrow during the day sometime. I have a vet appointment to get my boys bandages redressed at noon so it will be sometime after that. He is wearing a tie-dyed shirt to keep him from licking his stitches so I am eager to see the vets reaction to it.... not sure if she will find it funny or inconvenient, but it keeps him from licking and keeps the area clean... we shall see.
I looked into Dun's posts a little more. I'm not feeling any better about him.
1) The biggest thing that stands out to me is the constant reference to the last game. This seems to me like a very subtle way to say "so I must be innocent" without coming out and saying it. 2) Also, I've come to think of Dun as a rational, thoughtful, well spoken kind of guy. This game seems to be more... gamey than rational or thoughtful.
after getting railroaded last game, i vote to send LG to the loony bin.yup... is that a problem for a N1 vote? she showed up innocent, which is horrible for us with rich getting hit too, but she was not only innocent, but the most important innocent PR in the last game and look how well that went. And you put LG in the lead, until I was tied with her. Was this solely because of what she did last game? If so, then it just seems like a bit of a bad reason to vote someone. JMO.
now let's talk about bad reasons, shall we? i hope for your sake you have an air tight reason for voting UN N1 again.
I vote to send UN to the loony bin because it seems voting him is pretty good luck for me, considering my team won last game![]()
let me guess... your rabbits foot ran out?
if you're not scum, don't set yourself up. if you are scum, thanks for putting yourself out there. i'm sure the town appreciates it.
Another reference to the last game. 3) Going awful hard at FF early.
alright... all caught up.
i think i'm going to have to agree with this...
This is a numbers game, you very well know that. It's stupid to not save a teammate from a coin flip if you can possibly do so without arising suspicion. I don't see why you think they wouldn't make a couple easy, unsuspicious moves to keep him from a coin toss.
I vote to send Ice to the loony bin. He's not making sense.
dunno about "unsuspicious" moves, though. seems any move can be suspicious at any time, really.
i vote to send ice to the loony bin.
now to get back to making dinner....
4) For Dun to duck in and duck out like he has this game seems a bit strange to me combined with the lack of real content in most of his posts. I think if he were really short on time, the posts he did make would be way more critical and useful. Most of what he's put out there so far is rl excuses, and just enough conversation to try to blend in. That, to me is a Dun who doesn't really want to be looked at. If he were really "all caught up" and working for the good guys, he'd have had more to say.
the part i agreed with is bolded for emphasis. click on each post if you'd like to check for accuracy. i believed at the time that labby had made a good point worthy of my vote.Great game, loved the final 4 minutes. Pat game was over as soon as it started.....
I'm kind of surprised JB and Dawg didn't get the reference. I'm actually interested in what their 1st thoughts were when they read the headline.
alright... all caught up.
i think i'm going to have to agree with this...

Not sure what you mean here Dun... You agree with Labs post enough to vote me but you don't agree with it. She voted me because she thought scum would make a move to protect FF, but you say any move would be suspicious as I said. So if you agree with me then why did you vote with her?
after a sucky night where we lost 3 teammates, we (I) now know better thanks to the reporter. going to have to reread tomorrow and come up with a new set of suspects, maybe.
You think the scum are posting now?
since that crappy nightfall... i'd say more than likely.
5) I think this post must have taken some work... getting the formatting right so that every post is clickable... Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that. But why put all that time into defending yourself? In my mind, this is Dun covering tracks instead of thinking critically about the game. He's playing strategy instead of investigation.
it's a competitive game. i'm a guy with a competitive nature. she and JP pushed until i was railroaded last game... and i was innocent. it wasn't a joke. didn't turn out well, though, but how was i to know?Zaffy- Lab 43

Dun another question....I know Day 1 is a crapshoot and most of the votes are jokes unless something serious arises, but what made you put a joke vote on LG to push her into the lead?
As for Day 2 I will reread tomorrow when my brain will let me multitask.
actually, now that i think about it, i'm not sure i've voted once in any of the games i've played unless it was to put someone in the lead. whatever that's worth...
i'm sorry i haven't been much help. i knew i was voting LG before the game started, so i slacked off for the first nightfall. that was kind of scummy looking, i guess. after that, it's been a hectic couple days. unfortunately, due to stress sleeping last night wasn't useful at all so i'm pushing delirious ATM and i have to be up and chasing kids soon. i dunno how much i'll be on today, either. i'm exhausted. due to my inactivity, i couldn't blame you guys for lynching me tonight if you felt the need. i guess them's the breaks. i just hope the town survives to see another day. last game didn't go so well.
hopefully i get some mental clarity enough to read through later and help out a little.
i'm rambling and can't pay attention right now. hope this makes sense. hopefully i can get a few winks before the kiddos start going nutty. luckily they're not up yet. thank goodness for spell check. goodnight, folks. again...
6) I'm not doubting that you're busy, and stress sucks, I can totally relate. But this post almost leaves a trail. Dun says he knew he was going to vote G before the game even started. That's strategy there. The rest is just defense and yet another reference to last game.
alright... it's taken me a while, but i'm trying. bare with me, please.
what i want to know is with the discussion of possible UD's and FF being one of them, how come nobody decided to switch their votes to another suspect that wasn't in danger of UD'ing? scum or not, it's not going to help the town any voting for someone who's going to die anyway.
to be specific, that would be noods, Wiz and Zaffy.
7) So you kind of call out Noods, Wiz and Zaffy for something that's in the end pretty excusable and easy to explain. After everything that's gone on by the time of this post, a Dun working for the good guys would have something more to say. If I'm remembering right, he pretty much ignored a direct question from Ice in the mean time.
For now, I vote to send Dun to the looney bin.
I'll be back in a while with more thoughts on others.
it wasnt really a scum list just an everyone list.
ok, it is early, still sipping my first cup of coffee after a night of beer and football - I get the Ice reference in the headline, but why would invest results be published in the headlines? That is not making sense to me.
Disregard my last post - I just reread the rules. More coffee is in order. :coffee:
We have company coming over for the game today so not sure how much time I will have but I will do my best. Losing so many in two game days is mind boggling and sucks to say the least!
alright... it's taken me a while, but i'm trying. bare with me, please.

First, I thought FF would be back in time to vote. It was his absence that helped convince me he was scum. It is not unheard of for someone who is scum to lay low, hope to convince he will UD, then save his bacon by voting just before night fall. He did show up to vote just after night was called
Second, luckily, the lynch comes before the UD. My next suspect in line was Ice. If I had switched, and we can trust the headline which I don't see why we can't. Then Ice would have been lynched and we would have lost 4 innocents instead of three last night.
Would you have preferred that result over the one we got?.
Rather than looking at who kept their vote on a UD I think we should look at who voted confirmed innocents both nights. I think we have a better chance of finding scum that way.
I was playing Tropico 4 yesterday until very near to nightfall. Had I had time to read the thread I would have voted for you because I think you're scum and I still do. I don't regret keeping my vote on FF though, because he was lynched instead of UD, and that saved a townie.
Check out this little gem, highlighted in purple.

Kinda interesting, Dun's vote closely following AAF's both nights, on the same person each time.
Maybe AAF is coaching Dun?
:nilly:Maybe AAF is coaching Dun?
Idk if there is any significance to it, but it does strike me as odd.
Maybe AAF is coaching Dun?![]()
That would explain a lot about Dun's play this time around.

You are soooo lucky that LG can't post here or she would tear you up for putting a video game above mafia.
So you think Dun is scum? Why isn't your vote on him yet?
Reading through the game, it appears as though your bush kicking was directed mainly at AAF, but not kicking too hard. Is this so you can appear to be helpful without actually being helpful?
I don't know about Dawg or Ice, it seems like they're trying to get inside FF's head. That's a one way trip to crazy town.
JB makes me wonder too, his vote fell on FF yesterday, and today he's playing devils advocate for him.
as far as FF, He's planted his foot so firmly in his mouth so many times I'm not really sure what to think about his alleged slip.
Now this is interesting. The way this reads to me, and correct me if I am wrong Zaffy, you weren't so sure that FF did slip. We now know that he didn't by the way. However, you were the kill vote on him.
Why is that?
Noodles, while Zaffy's bush kicking hasn't been anything to really root out scum, he has still questioned more than you. You stated that you were nervous about leaving your vote on FF because you thought he would Ud, yet did not move it like you said you would. Why is that?
The only questioning of players that I could find in your posts was to ask why my vote wasn't on FF. Again, why is that?
What I would like to know, from everyone, are their thoughts on those who voted t2o confirmed innocents.
AAF, to be honest, I do believe that it was a fluke that he did that. From what I have seen in the game I believe that he is actually trying to get a grasp and learn to be helpful. I know that I went back and forth with him this morning but, I am hoping it helps him to learn how players view things and question others.
Zaffy, I am not getting all warm and fuzzy about you right now. I have posted my concerns and questions. One final question I have for you is you posted you think Dun is scum but your vote is on AAF. Why?
Noods, not thrilled with your "helpfulness" at this point either.
Dun, I am not sure, I reserve judgment until I see how or what he posts today. I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt for the time being and give him a chance to go through the game with a "clear head".
i dunno... i'm thinking wiz has his thinking cap on, here. quoted for emphasis.

So you were voting for LG regardless of whether you thought she was innocent or scum based on last game? Did I read that properly? Dun, this is a competitive game, but one game should have no influence on the next. It sounds like you didn't care if she was innocent, you were voting for her just to vote for her. That is not something an innocent townie does. It's got scum written all over it.
then you and a couple others might be peeved when i go for JP as well. what can i say?
***********************************************************************
i may have to look at a couple ongoing conversations. i definitely want so see where things go at this point. i should be back by late afternoon.
when i bolded "both parties" it was to emphasize the idea that had ice not posted back so bluntly, i think FF would have thought more along the lines of a teenager getting away with something and thus more free to post during actual gameplay at some point. as opposed to ice posting back and then FF feeling a little intimidated, being reluctant, etc..me said:despite the actions/discussion that didn't belong in the game by both parties, it was extremely obvious that FF was not coming back to vote in time.
I never said Kash went from Scum to Innocent. I said my impression of her after she didn't bite was leaning innocent. Remember my original reason for voting Kash was her low posting then she jumped on and started posting like mad after I called her out. Sounded to me like something a scum would do. So I went after her to see if she would bite. I have done this in the past and it does seem to work depending on the player. If you don't buy it I don't know what to tell you.So you were voting for LG regardless of whether you thought she was innocent or scum based on last game? Did I read that properly? I find Dawg's whole sudden 180 highly suspect as well.
Sorry Dawg, I don't buy it. What point did you suddenly decide that Kash went from scum to innocent? Because you were going at her hard then all the sudden it seems like you want to be BFFs. I understand pushing some buttons, but you were doing more than just pushing buttons.
Do you really think scum would use a hit on someone up for the lynch? That makes no sense Kash.
Nice! So you finally did it. I was wondering if you would jump to vote me when I went after you the first time around...but I see from this that you were waiting to see what others thoughts on me were. Many have said they are leaning me scummy and it seems like you wanted that back-up before you placed your vote. Guess my impression from you yesterday was wrong.Went back to review some posts. Now I'm ready.
I vote to send Dawg to the looney bin.
That makes it official, Dawg. You should be very pleased.:
What a crap load of, well... crap. Other than a quick joke and this post addressing his 180 reversal on me, Dawg had very little to add to an active thread today. I do not believe his explanation for retracting his vote on me. I also don't believe he seriously holds Zaffy as a real suspect "close to the top" of his list.
Ok. Let me start off by saying that this is much more the type of post I would expect to see....snip...
hey, look at this, jb... you left the quotes with links in your post... i can just click on them and go straight to them... how easy is that? then i can just drag them into place to re-create your entire post. it's almost too easy... i gather even a caveman can do it.
it's your turn to push for me. i get that... this game isn't exactly all-telling and you have to poke somewhere. however, i certainly don't like the tone of this part of your answer to dawg. seems the whole "would you rather me vote an innocent ice over an innocent FF" excuse is a tone throughout this thread at this point and truth be told, the only folks who can legitimately use that excuse would be folks who knew who was on which team. nobody knows whos alignment is where except scum and those investigating and communicating. i hope to see less "would you rather me" copouts and more actual answers like the rest of your post seemingly is.
needless to say, you're not off my radar, either... ice has that position all to himself.
also... see, this wasn't hard...
