A Case for Lynching Plantling

Okay here we go.....

Early on I mentioned that Plantling, like Sovran, looked like she was going to be playing the "I'm so confused card." FL22 has since joined me in agreement..

Here's an early quote from Plantling, letting everyone know not to look too hard at her:

then this somewhat strange one, about looking for the mayor and detective so that we could protect them....also mentions again that she's new and confuses easily

Maybe we should also be worried about the hit put out on the Mayor. He/She and the detective are possibly our strongest hopes. I think the detective would have posted already, trying to get ppl to talk so he can start taking notes. And the Mayor, maybe he or she is lying low? We should try to look out for them and protect them. I'm fairly new and get confused, so suggestions or comments, anyone?

Unfortunately though, I think I jumped on her a little too soon with my response to her "Will the mayor and detective please identify themselves" post, and I believe that's the last we hear of her confusion.

also looks to me like like Plantling may be fishing for the mayor's identity......will the mayor please announce themself so Plantling can 'protect' you?......or more likely carry out that hit. I love it when mafia folks play the "I'm so confused" card.....makes it easy to spot them a mile away.

Some Weak Reasons for Casting Votes
Then she votes for (and lynches) Dwarf Puffer for kind of a weak reason..."Dwarf Puffers voted for someone....Get him!"

Plantiling realizes she must vote and voice her thoughts. It wasn't an easy decision as there was so much mob-like activities to sort through, but the biggest thing she couldn't get over was Dwarf Puffer seconding the lynch vote for Ice so early in the game. She really hopes not to be in the wrong, but she voices "I vote to lynch DwarfPuffer".

Now for her vote on '13' for other strange reasons

I'm very tired of all this wishywashiness, so I'll have to say "I vote to lynch 13." I picked him because he went on a long rampage about him being the only innocent then maybe he's mafia.

Yes, you have switched your vote a few times and 13 hasn't, but the fact that he voted someone for not posting when she'd already explained her schedule, made no sense to me. And the long rant didn't help either. Maybe I'm wrong, but my vote stays.

Let's Lynch the Doctor!

A lot of folks pointed the finger at NeonJ. Let's see who is dancing in and out on this one.

Here she points out that NeonJ had it out for rbishop, and that then rbishop was whacked....

And one thing I was shocked about was that NeonJ boldly stated that RB was Mafia, but yet he got taken out during the night by the Mafia.

Julie then says something about rbishop's game play being 'abrasive' and Plantling counters with this about rbishop

I was making him out for detective or mayor. He had that J2R season 2 aura about him. Well thank goodness the good guys are still out there.

all of this to say.....'I disagree w/ NeonJ, she may have whacked rbishop because he seemed like a townie w/ special powers.' (Whose earlier post, though, mentions looking for the mayor/detective? Interesting don't you think? Plantling says let's find the mayor/detective. Then rbishop gets whacked first night. Then Plantling says 'Rbishop seemed like a mayor or detective to me.' BUSTED!)

So now, when the NeonJulie lynch train is about to depart, Plantling backs off a little. But not completely....she only halfway believes NeonJ's innocence.

Call me crazy, but I halfway believe NeonJ. I'm holding off my vote 'cause there are still a lot of lurkers yet to be heard from. Townies need to speak their minds and to do so rashly to minimize confusion, so other townies and the good 4 will be able to distinguish who's who.

After Julie is lynched, she distances herself some more....with 'I had a feeling Neon J was trying to tell us something.' Now I ask this....why vote for '13' for a bogus reason when she could have jumped on the Sovran train on the same night? She got on the next night (with alot of hemming and hawing about Coler not being detective).

I had a feeling NeonJ was trying to tell us something. But there were so many against her and no one seemed to want to listen.

She asks what's the use of this post.....2 reasons for making this post. She is distancing herself from the NeonJulie lynching AND attempting to tie me to Ogre, who as already been outed by Coler at this point.

Well, I had Mad and Ogre picked out, and was going to go on a tirade about how awful they made the good doctor feel by taking turns posting her into a corner to make her slip up and say something foolish...but what's the use?

Coler Ain't the Detective/This Plan Won't Work

Here she's acting really hesitant to follow the rest of the townies in voting for Sovran as Coler/JohnLarson as they may not be who they say they are (but it made no sense for them to expose themselves and BKW if they weren't)

I vote for Sovran

But I've still got my eyes open in case this is all just some smokescreen.

Then she tries to talk BKW1982 out of taking his hit....Why? If he doesn't take it, once exposed, he could lose it...

I may get attacked for stating this, but you could always wait until "tomorrow" to do your hit, just in case.

Here's another one....subtly saying 'Coler may not be detective AND Madcrawdad is linked to Ogre.' Also putting more ideas into an already jumpy BKW's head

I was just thinking in case all this was just a well planned strategy. I had thought J2R was the detective at one point then Ogre. But then his alliance with Mad made me nervous. And I never took Coler for the detective as he didn't seem to come out and stir information out of people. Well, whatever you do, you needn't let on that you're gonna do it, of course. I'm not too sure who to trust, that's all.

Once again....Coler and JohnLarson may not be who they say they are...

When is nighttime? I'm anxious to know if we've yet sacrificed more innocent. If all 3 are not Mafia, I say we all unite to boot JL and Coler if they don't commit suicide as promised.

If Coler is the detective, then I'd also take a hard look at you, FL, since you were so quick on the bandwagon to lynch the good doctor. You may have thought it was okay sinc J2R was first, but I get suspicious at immediate 2nd's And as soon as suspicion is thrown my way you're also 2nd. Hmmmmmm.

Nightime comes and 3 mafia are now dead...'Good Job Coler! Think I'll do a little damage control.'

I don't like jumping on bandwagons and switching my votes every which way. I'm a skeptic, but seeing as I'm wrong about Coler, then I apologize and RIP, Coler. Good Job, although I seemed ungrateful.

Misc.

Distances herself from Neon Julie again recently AND links Madcrawdad to mafia (Ogre). See a pattern?

I think it's important to see when FL voted for NeonJ. It seems only when it was safe, right after a first vote. Seems a perfect spot for a Mafia kill.

And Mad, I've had thoughts about your alliance with Ogre, also. You seemed to be of one mind until he was implicated and then you seemed to have a falling out right away. I wondered if that was a Mafia move. Now it seems like it might be.

I know this is long, but it all makes sense.

Madcrawdad, you are way into this game.

You can be the acting Detective, now that Coler is gone. No real powers, but your insight could be valuable to us.

Maybe you can research CaptianCaveman9 and give us some input. I am going to ask to investigate, from what I have read, I have the power to investigate still. Without the Detective, we can not elimanate anyone. I am pretty sure I will be killed by the one remaining mafia member (left after plantling is lynched). If I am alive the next day, I will let the town know.

My guess I will be dead.

You know... If the dead mafia are still reading this thread I wouldn't mind some insight into why you whacked Rbishop and mee mee but not me. I had so much suspicion pointed my way, was very vocal and crowd inciting. I figured I was more of a threat,easy target.
