O jeeeez! Here we go...jo, you really need to read game 4 and see how cl's nonsense posting got'em in trouble. I can't tell if you are just really confused or a slipped-up mafia because you're a newb. I think it's pretty obvious that the vets need to be watched because they always have a few tricks up their sleeves.
Starting the joander bandwagon right here.
Would it be effective to have a limit to how many posts per person each "day?" I mean look at last game. So many posts were either completely unrelated to the game, people going on huge rants about nothing (*cough* neon julie *cough*), and then people taking things waaay to personally. It might take away from the game. Less to analyze but still we already have 13 pages! People don't want to read all that! Simple lists of suspicions and why is sufficent and then when the time comes a post about who you want to vote for. I don't know it's just an idea...
Haha, wow did I post that?! Dumb idea:wall:
Asks to make less posting possible when posting is the ONLY way Townies can ID Mafia. Then after Ice challenges that he renegs.
I really suspicious of joander. The "I'm new" thing is just as bad as the "I'm innocent" gag. If you are new then definitely follow Ice's advice. I got called out on a lot of things last game and I was new, but jo you took things farther than that...I'm tempted to vote for you. I see you as someone who is too "excited"
We'll call this knife in joander #2
Wait did colers vote really count!? I guess he did type in bold
I think it was a joke. That can't seriously be your reason to vote for him.
Challenging colers vote on himself. Building a stage? Truelly curious? Who knows.
I really want to know how you did it. Although its hard to trust what people say this game, like you said, with the whole random post thing.
My top 3
1. Joander123-the CL of Mafia 5
2. Coler- mostly beacuse of weird post at the beginning
3. Nobody
joander train leaving the station, choo choo.
Oh man I regret that one post. I was basically thinking out lous and wanted to know others opinions on if a rule like that would work. Now that I think about it, it sucks. My top 3:
1. joander- reasons already listed
2. Malbri- quick posting, then removed from the game but still monitoring the thread...
3. Nobody right now but Z and JM aren't playing like last game so they need watching. Z was especially vocal and usually had some good advice but so far none...
Where did Malbri's name pop up? Yeah I'm on the list with JM here, I'm ok with that.
O jeez! This is my second time playing and I still feel like a complete newb...right now I'm a little nervous of those who talked about the whole random number thing with all the probabilties. Is the mafia trying to assure us that an innocent is going to be lynched tonight? I know that it's "mathmatically probable" but why come out and say it with all of the numbers and such. Just because there is a good chance that we will lynch a townie doesn't mean we shouldn't try to find a mafia on night 1.
Calls in to question the probability talk that was going around. I hated it myself but it was relevant.
This game is definitely hard to call. If joander wasn't playing his first game I would be tempted to vote for him, like CL in game 4. But for some reason people are a lot harder to read this game...maybe we all learned something from last game.
I wouldn't be so sure of that. If joander is mafia his is more of a threat to the mafia than the town. Mafia will follow the crowd when it comes to votes. While none will necessarily off one of their own on the first night by starting a lynching bandwagon they could very well help swing the voting patterns by mistake.
Here pappy says that joander must be Mafia, but also that they can't be, and if they are the MAfia should kill him themselves. Really trying to make the CL connection stick. I admit I thought the same way till I read past those first few posts. I really don't get a Mafia vibe from joander any more.
What? When did I tell joander to cool it? I said that he was acting like cl in game 4 and that's why everybody was jumping on him. I was just as suspiciuis as everbody else. If you seriously want to lynch me because of some connection between jo and I then go ahead, but time will tell the real story...
How many times has "time will tell the story" been used in this game? I think mee-mee and CL both used it last game.
I have to agree with you Cl. The switching votes thing is odd...must investigate further...
How can you investigate switching votes? It just happens, it just seems like a diversionary post to me.
I vote to lynch joander123. Last night he saw how close he got to being lynched and so he isn't posting a lot in terms of info (not the number of posts) lately.Right now my biggest suspicion, other than joander, is Ice. I just thought I'd throw that out there. I will work on getting some more info to make a case later. Sorry, but I have stupid soccer practice and probably won't be able to use the comp the rest of the night. TTFN Acville!
Finally, two days of posting and jpappy's first vote. Pulls out the joander card after a large train has already lined up I might add. Vote and run, little info provided. In conclusion I just find it odd that jpappy has summer break and was on since the game started, all Day 1, but never voted. Then on Day 2 decided to jump on the current favorite pick and run out. Make your own decision.
