    Get about 6-8 Firemouths and let them pair off....then keep 2 pair Or maybe some Convicts if you want alot of fry :)

    Mix up a 20:1 bleach water mixter and let them soak for awhile....rince a few times and then soak them again in fresh water with a good dose of water dechlorinator to remove any bleach that might still be on there.

    I havent even looked at mine to see why it leaks...I never think about it until it does and then I forget about it and then it crosses my mind later after I have already rolled it back up and put it away..... I will try to remember next time I use it...

    You feeding bloodworms as a treat daily?? Just feed them once a day and them substitute their regular feeding for bloodworms about once a week..That is what I consider a treat.

    Same thing I do...and I have a thing about trying to get it the exact same...lol I stick my extra digital thermometer in the tank I am changing water in then take a reading and then use the same thermometer to adjust the temp at my faucet using my Python ...This way I know the temps are right...

    I spray painted the inside of my hood white as FtwayneFish had mentioned this morning...I just put it back on and it does make a noticable difference in how much light gets reflected back in the tank compared to when it was just black....

    Still might be cheaper to get a $10 hood at Walmart and 2 screwin cfl bulbs for $6 then to buy a new light strip or even a bulb replacement for the one you have.
