I don't know about the Rena but my Ehiem 2026 came with a slotted cap to go over the intake I would assume the Rena would be the same.

Having worked at HD before it all depends on the employee, if they want to tank there time and correctly measure it for you or if they wan't to just get it done so they can go back to doing nothing(most likely the case). And also being IKEA furniture doesn't make it junk they have some good...

I though only the SAE had the horizontal line, and going on that that is how they are labeled in the LFS I frequent and the ones pictured above are labeled as CAE. I thought you only bought one pleco, but any ways to me both look like a common to me but I'm not a pleco guy.

I am definitely getting 2 - Salvini's 2 - Sajica's I was going to get a Green Texas but I changed my mind to a archocentrus spinosissimus (spiny cichlid). Do you think that 2 Salvini's, 2 Sajica's and the Spiny are a better route to go with.

I'm in about the second week of cycling my 75g tank. When I put the ammonia in there it is gone with in 24 hours so thats good. Now the question I have is that both my nitrites and nitrates are super high right know, is this normal when the nitrates first appear and the nitrites will go away...

Another thing you can get to clean the glass is those glass cleaning wipes that way there isn't any spraying involved.

Looks good to me especially since you have the one diagnal support in there.
