I wear a helmet all the time but I'm still in favor of the no helmet laws. It's nice to be able to take them off when your stuck in traffic, especially here in Florida. I figure if I get killed riding at <10mph with no helmet my number was up anyway!! I see guys all the time riding fast...

That's great news! You might actually get regular monthly checks. I got checks for two years from a guy that stole some windsurfing gear from me years ago. He had to pay or apear (in court). Once it's in the system, the courts seem to enforce it pretty well.
