    Oscar tank mates for 125

other cichlids are good tankmates, and there's a long list of posibilities. South Americans like blue acaras, severums, larger geo's are very good, and something from that list is definitely what I would go with.

    Black Ghost Knifefish?

55 gallon is too small for the BGK for its whole life, but in the meantime, the only big thing is to make sure it has good hiding spots like a piece of pvc pipe.

    Is this a parasite?

I had an outbreak of camallanus with some wild caught Geo's and it really was a pain in the butt. I used the levamisole that I bought in powdered form. If you search on this site there are previous threads that were really helpful with proper dosing and such. There's also a company Florida...

Severum in a community planted tank???

I wouldn't do it, not only b/c of the digging, but them eating the plants is also a concern

    Rid-Ich not working

I've never used Rid-Ich except at the store i used to work at, but why not forget it and use salt and heat instead? It's more reliable and safe.

    green terror question

the aggression is probably due to the fact that there is not enough territory to go around, so the GT claims most of the tank leaving the smaller/weaker firemouths open to be attacked more.
