I have neon tetras with my serpea tetras. No fin nipping. When there was fin nipping, it was among the serpea. I was down to 3, I added 3 more, and this ended the nipping among the serpeas. They serpeas never fin nipped the neons.

how about some black lipstick for the fish? sorry, my poor attempt at humor. Maybe have all black fish in the tank?

I say follow up, give them a call, remind them your interested. I wouldn't call daily though. If they have lots of applicants, and a few call back showing interest, I think that gives them a leg up

I'm leaving town for 5 days too. Do I need to anything with the light? The tank can get some natural daylight, its on the wall opposite the windows. IF I leave the shades partially open, will the daylight be enough for the fish? Or do I need to get a timer?

sounds like you need some chamomile or bed time tea before hitting the hay. It does wonders for when my mind is going and I cant sleep. Most stores and health food stores carry these teas
