Like Grins, I too feed my frogspawn and torch corals meaty foods like mysis, brine and cyclopeeze among other foods. I use a turkey baster as well, though have to keep my greedy clowns away from the corals during feeding time. I keep them busy with some food while I feed the corals. Also...

I agree with everyone above here ... patience is key in this hobby. Looks like you're on step two of the cycle (first being the ammo spike, followed by the Ite spike followed by a Ate spike). Keep testing and you should see the Ites drop in the next week or so, and then one big water change...

Good to hear your tank is doing well and cycle is over. Yeah 20 ppm of Ates is about normal ... one nice big water change and you should be all set to add the critters! Pictures pictures pictures!! haha!! Cheers! Yash

Wow! You really do have a very interesting plan with the macro and stuff ... I'm sure its going to end up looking really sweet once you're done. Yeah ... gotta hate diatoms ... thankfully I didn't have too bad of a time with them, except for on the glass. It will clear up soon though...
