So, I'm really interested in the foam platform. What kind of foam? (stryo, insulation et. cetera) How did you get the edges to look that good? How did you hook up the filter?
You used spraypaint, and GE1? that's all?

Thanks! With the filter... I ended up using a submersible and using a hose to pipe the water to the top. The tank remains fully submerged. I would have updated if I had done anything with it. Alas it survives virtually unattended

well the tank is no longer under my ownership but it currently houses a very tiny american snapping turtle. He thinks it is great.
I think what you did with this tank is amazing!

yeah... It sat in there well because of the troughs in the foam. no more dirt at the moment as the turtle would make a huge mess of it.
