I have a friend who has a custom built 400 gallon tank in his house. He gets in there to scrape the algae off rocks with goggles and snorkel tube. If you really want a big tank like that, there are just somethings you have to do.

You'd still have to get in the water to clean the outside of the glass.Even if you kept an algea magnet installed on it, once in a while you'd have to get in the water and change it.
