This is a great read. I am enjoying the progress of this project. I am looking forward to the tank arriving.

Progress (major progress) this weekend ~~
Laying out the retro kit on the light board
Gluing up the cleat under the front canopy doors
Installing the adjustment setup for the light board to the face frame
Dry-fitting an end to the front
Had to route out slots for the fans to attach
Installing the adjustment setup for the light board to the back frame
Sanding the back frame through 150 grit
Canopy glue up (finally - a great deal of measuring, cutting and fitting went into this bad boy)
A trial fit on one of the fans (the ballasts will attach to the outside back - 2 center supports)

So, I either don't remember or didn't catch what retrokit you went with....whatever it is, way to go on the individual reflectors.

I agree with BK, Pro. I'm going to be sad when this project is over, but at least we'll have a very nice planted 150 to look at.
Well, with any luck, by the time this thread starts to slow down, I'll be moved to Altanta setting up a 180...

Looking great. Maybe you should change you profession and start building stands and canopy's for living
lol, you got a good advertisement going here or maybe just extra cash side thing, if the lfs wants $1,400, yours is a lot more solid so $2,000 is a go can we start getting in line on the orders LOL
