210g Build Thread....

You'll be fine at that SG for fish and you can just raise it with your top off or next WC. No worries right now.

Oh...and with that huge tank...please please please consider QTing those new fish first.
I am going to set up a QT tank, but all I have is the tank right now...no stand, filter, or light. I have a 29g tank, so I may swap my son's 10g FW for the 29 and use the 10g as a QT tank. His Pleco is getting HUGE! So it'll be a big change to get everything moved around the way we need it.....not to mention making room in the aquarium room. So I may not QT the new fish :nono:but I will set up a QT tank very soon. Really! I will!!
I think the diatoms are showing up...slightly more on one side of the tank(?).
thanks!!!
Robbie

Very good point....I'll see about QTing these little guys.
What's a good QT time for new fish, anyway?
thanks!!
Robbie

You should be fine 2-3 weeks with the clowns. Some will say 4 weeks but generally you'll notice something sooner than that. You hardly need anything to QT. Tank, some sort of filter, a heater and some pvc. Done. If you want a light OK but you don't need it.

I got fish! :woot:Five Green Chromis or Blue Green Chromis or whatever they are and a Lawnmower Blenny.
Hope they live!
The Chromis' names (if you have a seven year old you gotta name your fish apparently) are John, Paul, George, Ringo, and Eddie (can you figure out Eddie?). The Blenny's name is Lorax.
I'll post pics soon.
Thanks!
Robbie
