210g Build Thread....

Eh, you might be able to..might not. It isn't normally recommended to add more after the initial stocking but fish aren't all programmed the same. One of those calculated risks..how willing are you to accept potential losses?
That depends...are we talking a dead chromis or two or something along the lines of Jonestown in my tank? These five are very peaceful and entertaining...I almost hate to upset the balance. But on the other hand, more chromies would be cool.
Thanks!

Here is todays addition. I picked up a peppermint shrimp and 7 more blue legged hermits. today...I had sworn that I wouldn't get anything that would disappear as soon as I put it in the tank, but I really wanted a shrimp. My understanding is that the coral banded shrimp can be aggressive...especially to small hermits. And I like my hermits.
Thanks!
Robbie

Hmm... not quite sure if coral banded shrimp is aggressive toward hermits. But I do know that it is definitely aggressive toward other shrimps. But in many cases, at least based on my experience, coral banded shrimps like to find a cave and stay in there, so as long as the other shrimps keep away from the cave, it wasn't a problem.

Definitely get a scarlett skunk cleaner Robbie, they don't tend to hide as much and will eat right out of your hand, even clean your fingernails and callouses if you have them. Our tang used to get ticked if he thought HIS shrimp was spending too much time with anyone

Cool tank! I just have to say, you will NOT see that shrimp in about a week... he will go "poof" and dissapear
It took me half the day taking out the rock when all my fish died, and I forgot about him... but I saw him zip along, and "poof" again

your tank is really coming along nicely. Keep up the good work. Just a word of advice though...Try adding a few more powerheads to the tank this should help with the red slime algae, "cyanobacteria".
