29 Gallon Journal

if i got a new filter itd be an aquaclear 50 or 70 but i dont have 30 bucks right now :) help with the current issue with my current filter plz ;)

cover the intake with a sponge if it isn't already'

and stuff the extra space left behind/in front of media with filter floss/sponges

neither does mine

i just separate the screen from the window,

get a small bucket(2 are better)

so 1 fills up,
i transfer the hose of the siphon into the other bucket while i throw the water out the window of the first bucket, then i do this with the 2nd and so on.................

how's it look and how many days or weeks do i have until the platy drops some fry? i plan on adding some java moss so that a couple can live.
 
can you not tell?!?! maybe thats not a good pic. if you look at her from the front she's huge, but how do you tell? i mean i figured she was.
 
platys/swordtails are pregnant for a month or so.

you gotta get moe plants! fill it up!

and also, bury your DW in the sand a little bit instead of just laying it down so it looks more natural. :)
