badoleross,
sorry I missed the followup
in essence since the tank is not inhabited the amount you use is really not an issue.

there are different concentrations of H202

Hey man, did you have to sand the inside of this bad boy before PC, or did you just slap it on?? If not, would you recommend sanding, thanks.
Mike

Mike, I bought plywood that was already sanded on one side! And yes, I would recommend sanding it but I dont think it would be required. Anyway it was a big day here. The plan was to move the stand and tank from the workshop and into the house. While I was moving the tank the glass people called and said the glass had arrived

so I had to go and pick up the glass as well. When I got home from picking up the glass, there was a box on the porch that contained my Poret foam for my sump. So, I got the tank moved into the house, got the sump finished, and got the glass siliconed in. Here are some picks....I had to strap the stand and tank to a large handtruck and add handles to be able to move it and get it inside. Each half of the sump has the water running in through a 200 micron filter sock, over an overflow through a 100 mircon filter pad, through poret foam 20 and 30 ppi and then finally through a 50 micron filter pad. There are 2/250W heater in the bottom of the sump.

Nice!

That's frickin awesome.

Bang up job, badoleross!!! Man, that looked like a tight fit through the door. cant wait too see this beast set up. Did you prefill it in the garage? I plan on doing it myself, rather have a flood in there, than in my living room, LOL. Again good job!

The fit getting it out of the workshop wasn't bad at all, I had a good 3/4" on each side of the tank. Getting it into the house was a different story, I had about 1/4" total extra space. It just made it in the house. As far as testing, I didn't do any. I know that I am not going to have a blowout! Worst case is I will have small drip drip drip.....I will take car of that with a napkin. My plan is no leaks!

Right on man, keep the pics coming, maybe a video of the whole sump system working. It'll be way cool!!
