Next time you want help or someone's opinion either be prepared to listen to it and possibly accept that it is not what you want to hear or just don't ask if you are going to do what you want anyways.

I feel bad for your goldfish but there is nothing any of us can do to change your mind apparently.

I don't care what y'all say so I'm gonna do it anyway. Period. End of story.

Sigh...still can't tell if troll or not.

If it isn't, I feel sorry for them fish. They won't even last. He's only 10 since you say two years younger. Why don't you educate him?

Also, if he isn't going to listen, why bother asking.

10gallons is not even enough for one gold fish of any type let alone 4.

please don't be a selfish child and force poor fish to suffer and die a horrible death....

This is not a troll. This is a foolish and headstrong child who has more will for being right than regard for the life of fish. I say "child" because a mature person would not seek advice from people with considerably more experience and completely ignore it just to be right.
This seems to be a battle between an older brother and a younger one with, unfortunately, fish as the victims. One can only hope that brother the younger will swallow a small amount of pride for the benefit of the fish, and leave the rest of us who are interested in the hobby alone-- but that's what an adult would do. A child would willfully insist on his own way and bother others until he gets it.

+1. I quoted it because it's so well said, it deserves to be repeated.
