yup big time. ever seen the movie earth storm? where the moon was hit by a big meteor and started moving? causing storms on earth to go haywire, and static elec happening all the time? well that is what we may be dealing with soon... should watch the movie if you haven't seen it yet.
 
A Brown Dwarf is an object too large to be a true gas giant, but too small for the nuclear fires of a real star - so basically, anything around 50 times the size of Jupiter I think. So it can't be anything close to earth sized - also, it wouldn't even notice earth when it collided with us.

i feel bad for us when/if it DOES hit us..... i hbet NASA will blow off rockets to space to hit it yet wont do no affects..... if it does come our direction then we are done..
