4300 Gallon Plywood Build (3600+ Take 2)

In search of digital thermostats with submersible probes that can control an electrical outlet.

If they can send a signal via wireless communication, all the better!

Also looking for inexpensive, reliable solenoid valves.

Yep, cool Sploke that's about it. Maybe I'll go with two narrower openings instead of one, so I can prevent fish from jumping in it. I forgot that ABS comes in black, so it'll be ABS instead of PVC. ABS is lighter weight I think too.

Pete is on fire with new ideas!

Insane crazy tank! Keep it going and keep it up! Fyi I had a weird picture in my head of your room mate coming home with a few girlfriends and you are swimming around with your fish lmfao! Also with a tank like that should make a great long conversation with women lol.

You should so get a sign made saying this is not a spa sorry! And hang it for you room mate to remind her she sounds like a blond no offense lol.

Just a good question, Are you gonna be putting plants into the tank. If so what kind. And what are you gonna be doing for decor? Be neat to see a pool table sunk in it or even some of the older coke and pepsi glass bottles sunk on the bottom.

You probably should of bought a huge stump and cleaned it and used it as a center piece or something of that nature. Cut it down into sections and assemble it back together with it in the tank. Just some ideas :p

She's quite a prude, so unlikely.

My friend uses plants from a craft shop. They look very real, so probably go that route.

I may try my hand at constructing hollow boulders later on, but right now I'm not concerned at all about decor.

My focus is getting the tank and room done, getting the filtration and heating the way I want, and posting consistent excellent water parameters so I can get my baby Arapaimas.

I doubt I'll have anything that can break down in water. I'd like to find some nice logs and make casts of them then make plastic cast replicas.
