$50 craiglist 225 tank/cabinet/canopy DIY refurbish

i buy egg crate at home depot and put under the rocks. its cheap easy to cut and works great. as for putting them in the tank i just get them cleaned and take my shirt off have a friend hand them to me and gently sit them down in the tank if needed i use a step stool.

Nice looking rocks.

if it was ide use the as the base rocks then stack up from there.. they look like they would make a good stable footprint on the bottom so u should be able to stack rocks on top pf them with out much probblem of them falling

These rocks are nice. Goodness knows out here where I live next to BLM lands where there are no fences, there is an unimaginable supply and selection as seen in the photo's below. Every time you pick up a rock out here you set it down for something else. I just thought lava black would make a great white sand contrast. I know know I cant waste that much space and water to make habitat and need a new idea I have using ABS piping, black silicone, and small lava rocks as camouflage.

you need to collect and sell some.....especially small ones that will not kill folks on shipping...

Just a thought but I think the USPS flat rate box size 12" x 12" x 5-1/2" cost only $12 regardless of weight or distance, that's allot of rocks or one big one LOL. Maybe Ill start collecting, what I have in small stuff for this tank collected in a rush with 1 hour daylight left. Ill have to do allot better if I want to sell them though. Just depends on what is preferred lava, quartz, exc
