55 gallon build/journal

im actually not getting that type of angel. ill be getting a philipine blue zebra angelfish. i dont know if i want to though bc it will be around 38 dollars for a mid sized one and 48 for a larger one, which would leave me with about 15 or so dollars for the schoolers. so id only be able to get maybe 6 of the 20 i want. is there anyway i can just rearange the tank when i add more schoolers? on a good note im going to use this really cool DW i posted a while ago. it seems like hardwood. ill make sure to check params atleast once a week to make sure its not decaying. i left it outside for about a month since i found in and im going to be boiling it in a bin,.
 
im asking bc i need to grow it to a larger size. she said it would be quarter to silver dollar size. would 4 months be enough to grow it bigger then a 3 or 4 inch blood parrot? ive heard the blood parrots are slow growers so on frozen blood worms thje angel should be able to pass the blood parrot in size in how many months do yall think?
 
oh ok so 4-6 months an he'll big big enough? how should i do his temporary tank? bare bottom or sand? rocks with plants of just rocks of just plants?
