55 gallon setting up!!!!!!!

Okay what kindof details do you want and I don't have a camera the tank is drilled and has the overflow pipes and stuff and I am pretty definetly planning on changing the wet dry to a sump any idea on how I would do that Oh and I just realized that the mag drive pump is identical to the powerhead so I have 2 powerheads at 500 gph it through me off because he had it in the wet dry filter

1 powerhead rated 500gph brand?
1 powerhead rated 270 brand?
1 powerhead rated 160 for in bin with rocks brand?
two ballasts for mh needs new bulbs wattage? are these wired for 2 lights each?
half a bag of salt does it look like it has been kept sealed and dry?

There's two there only wired for one each and there both 150 watt do you think that will be enough for a reef tank of my size it also comes with one automatic light time the brand is Advanced if that helps.
the 500 is a mag drive model 5
the 270 is an aquaclear
160 is zoo-med powersweep
and no the salt doesn't look dry I had to use a little bit of it though cause the water the rocks are in were at like 1.18

Also do you think the cosmo skimmer will work has anyone here ever used one before Thanks.

hi liveoutloud
i just did research on cosmo skimmer and it doesnt look a like a real skimmer. skimmer is a real important and one of the expensive equipment you have to invest. i suggest you look into octopus.:)

I'm pretty sure the barnacles aren't alive sadly and I think the algae is diatoms.
