There are some downstairs, I certainly think that they are more red... But they were put into a tank with others so need to be separated to breed true... There are calicos in there too I think, but I think they are all longfin too.Exactly! To all that! lol They were sold as 1.5-2" (ha) super reds. At that price point I knew they wouldn't be "super red" (orange) but they are even less red (orange) than I had hoped...so far. Either way I figure I can grow these up, sell some/all and then be able to afford some good quality ones (trying to be positive!).
You have some nice ones downstairs?
Wait and see what you end up with, you may see them color up, or they have offspring that show better color; just give them a chance and see what happens.
If I can see into the forest later I will see if I can get a picture, luckily the pencilfish in there are not gonna be able to eat any eggs or fry.
If you don't have any luck, if you yell we might be able to work out a few offspring for you.
