600 gallon tank

WOW! How much does that thing cost on your water bill? That's like feeling a swimming pool every month! lol. More pictures please!

Water bill isn't that bad.

I don't have to change that much water every month.

I have 2 aros...I have a 30" leichardti outside in a pond and I have a 12" silver in a 240 quarantine tank.

The silver will be added next week sometime.

i work at adventure aquarium in new jersey with 4,000 gallon tanks, but I've never seen someone with a tank that big at their house. awesome dude.
 
How many guys did it take to hoist the tank onto the stand ? If you were ever to move, will it fit through any opening in the house ? Did you put a pillow in there, take a nap and pretend you're a fish ? Can you tell I'm envious ? ;)

I already work part time at a LFS.

I would not like to do this for a career though. I don't like to mix my hobby with my work.

I think it took 7 of us. The tank is all glass so it is quite heavy.

We used glass suction caps which made the job 100000X easier.

If I need to move the tank out I will probably strip it down and then rebuild it later.

No I didn't sleep in it LOL :joke:
