hmmmm..... I think its most likely the skeleton of some type of acropora growing a former colony of tubeworms....

Great thought there FC..but i dont think they are tube worms as there is no tubes and the entirety shoots back into the rock when something goes near them...weird...

I love the idea of a pistol/goby pair. Just make sure you get an active goby. My Hi-Fin has turned out to be an unwanted bioload space. I never see him move. Just a face glaring at me from his cave.

I aint got macro mode on my cam mate...or at least i dont think so..lol

Will dig the book out and have a look tomorrow...

If you have a "flower" symbol button that's the macro!
