Try using a flocculant, it binds smaller particles into larger particles. This one is very cheap and effective:

You should try to figure out why it's happening. Are you overfeeding maybe? Is there a lot of debris on the gravel or sand? Do you not have enough filtration? The drops are a temporary fix, and they are harmless, but you should figure out the root of the problem also.

Are they microbubbles (white and shiny) or real dust/dirt (brown)?

For brown, WC's + less feeding should do the trick, though a high stocking level can lead to dirty water as well.

Microbubbles you will need to find the cause and cut it there.

they are sort of micro bubbles, i can only see them when i am super close to the tank, they are like clear/off white in color, my filter is rated for 160 gallons, so double, I am also getting another marineland penguin 350 for extra flow.

definitely not over feeding, even when i dig into the substrate all the way down(3"-4"), there is no dirt coming up, so not dirt, maybe something else, IDK what it is, but I have never seen it before. I feed once to twice a day and skip a day each week of feeding.

I will get pics soon, but it really looks weird.

nope, dust particles are way smaller, these are like this..................

they are big as these dots BELOW

. . . . . . . . .
and some are bigger like this
^~```````**

that is the approximate size. I am going to do a major filter clean once my new media arrives.

overfeeding is more of a problem than people think. one thing about fish is that they can survive for months without being fed. my tanks overstocked right now, so i only feed every 2-3 days, but i could be waiting even longer. really cutting it on feeding will solve your problems.
