Well, if he has "heard" it several times, it is obvious he isn't taking the advice. And angels can be vented to tell sex...just saying....
 
The largest fish I've euthanized is an adult Bolivian Ram, but I've never had to use alcohol in addition to the eugenol. The method that works best for me is rather simple, and takes only 5 drops of eugenol per cup of water in a wide-mouth disposable container with tight fitting lid. Shake it vigorously before dropping in the fish (it is oil & water, after all). The fish relax and lose consciousness within seconds. I'm not sure when death occurs, but kept in this solution for a few hours assures they will not be waking up.

I've fed blue rams (along with others) the above (along with frozen/flake/wafer of different brands) and never seen sunken stomachs. A parasitic infection seems far more likely than the food used...

A caved in stomach is usually a sign of illness, parasites maybe. I would try feeding him medicated food.

yeah, thats what i thought at first, but i don't see anything wrong, its still pooping and super active, just the weird belly, i'll medicated foods, any suggestions, i will be buying from angelsplus.com/

what do u mean vented? and btw, angels really can't be sexed until they are adults or start breeding ime unless ur gonna take it out, and check it out which stresses the fish imo.

ive just heard bad stuff about freeze dried stuff.

Freeze dried foods do not cause a sunken stomach. As some one else said, internal parasites are usually the cause. Probably brought in by unquarantined fish. Medicated food is a good thing to try.

yeah, thats what i thought, but the only unquarantined fish i have put in the tank is the baby discus which i have transferred into a diff. tank, but it is super healthy, and showing non signs of anything bad.

read the newer posts by blue2fyre and others, freeze dried only affect if u don't get them wet before feeding as they can choke the fish literally and block its throat
