day 3 and you're already getting flower stalks... good deal!

Yeah sorry man been crazy busy with work and my own problems with fish. My ammonia has been awful, and been trying to get that under control. Your tank looks beautiful man. Your high tech makes me jealous. I love it dude, keep up with pictures.

Thank you! I would know exactly nothing if it had not been for other peoples journals and posts here on AC. Since you are a new member, there is a lot of beneficial lurking that can be done here. I lurked for over a year. :grinno:

Dude, that does not sound good. Sorry about those levels. :( I would try and offer some advice, but since you know more than me, it would just sound stupid. Let me know if you get that sh*t in check so you can spend more time lurking in my thread here.

lol okay. I think I have it under control, but I just have to do the waiting game and wait for massive amounts of bacteria to form in the tank. Water changes save lives lol.

Found two floating plants this morning, the roots have not really taken off yet, so everything is very loosely holding onto the soil. With the added current of the powerhead, or just the right nudge from a fish, and these things pop to the surface.

Is it just me, or do some of my photos not even look real? This looks like a bad photoshop job, but oddly enough, it's an untouched photo. Cheap *** camera. Maybe it's the "bluescreen" effect of my blue background and still too-short background plants. George Lucas would be proud!

FTS Day 4, nothing too special.

Algae is red boxes. I think now that the plants are in, I am sort of maintaining a level of algae, and I dont really see a increase, which is good.

Notice the Krib hiding in her favortite spot?

Probably no pics until Monday, have a nice weekend fish geeks.

Geek, see if you can get like 4-5 juvenile bristlenose. They eat algae like there is no tomorrow.
