AAHHHH !!! Blue Rams Breeding AGAIN !!

Is there an aquarium club in your area? I know the club here has auctions on a regular basis...perhaps you could sell your fry through an auction instead of taking them all to the LFS?

Where in the Northeast are you? I am also in the NE, Connecticut actually and would be happy to pick some up if not too far.

I'm in the NE corner of CT....about 8 miles from UCONN in Storrs.

I don't know of any aquarium clubs nearby, but I'm sure there must be....I was considering advertizing in a local paper when I get back from NC next week.

My PH is about 7.8...and I have measured it as high as 8.0 in that tank....Hardness, last time I checked, was only about 80ppm.

Man, the colors on mom and dad are great...especially Dad ! He absolutely GLOWS when the light hits him right ! Beautiful fish ! :D

Well, I hope they do ok while I'm away...have a neighbor/friend coming by to take care of the little swimmers for the week. I'm sure they'll be fine.. :dive:

Over here, they are priced at around $4 to $5, but extremely rare - I'll see some for sale maybe once a month if I'm lucky.
**** LFS keeps the price tags on the tank, so it's like a tease. :(
We're talking fish size about the size of a golfball...

Still don't know how you do it Emg, my water is acidic straight from the tap with a low TDS and I still can't hatch any eggs :(
