Well, he was fine an houir before, swimming around the tank like usual, then I saw him sitting nose down in the cabomba... dead.

Not a clue what happened, he's not bloated, no obvious injuries, his color was even great when I last saw him alive..

I have had him about a year and a half or so, he was about 5". Red turquiose.

All other fishes are fine, and acting normal.
He was the largest fish in the tank, and the largest discus.
I havent seen him eat for a couple days but didnt think much of it, because he was kind of shy, but he was out eating today.. then dead an hour later.

Fed them Tetra bits this morning, and he died before he got bloodworms for dinner..

Getting prettu bummed out here. First my job, then my truck, now my fish..

Anyone have the number to AA?

Later.. Gonna go bang my head on something..

**** im sorry your discus went to fishy heaven, thats messed up just tank it easy and keep a watchful eye on you others lil ones!

Well, Just pulled the corpse out of the tank...
Not a happy camper..

Tested my water just to be sure..

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10ish

Phosphate <.25 (I used to dose phosphates for the plants, so I have a test kit and figured WTH might as well test it...)
ph 6.0

Only thing that suprised me is the low Ph..
I expected it to be higher.

I rean out of clean tubes..
I'll test the GH & KH next...
(although I dont know why at this point)

Temp is a rock solid 85F 3 stealths keep it steady.

I never feed live food, unless I grow it..

I always buy 5 packs of frozen bloodworms at a time to get the same batch... been using the same batch for a while...
But didnt feed them any today yet..
