I think Lens comments were directed to me. Len, you are certainly entitled to your opinion, and I have a lot of respect for you as a hobbyist. I have enjoyed reading your posts here for years. But my point is it is like you are holding a grudge for something that happened a "long time ago" in your words. And people did not ask for your opinion on my business, she asked for opinions on aquariumplants.com. You made your comment along with Dave's without the footnote that this happened a few YEARS ago, and you constantly bring this up in this forum and others any time my business comes up in conversation. That is not a very fair representation now is it? Even if your's and Daves comments are completely justified and I greatly wronged you, do I have the right to change and make things better? Do people have the right to come to their own conclusions without being prejudiced by your comments? That's a rhetorical question, please do not feel the need to respond.
Just to set the record straight. The shipping policy requires a signature unless it has recently changed. I do not work in an office and my wife's place of employment does not allow her to recieve packages. Additionally, since no verification of shipping date is given, no one really knows when the plants will be there. Mine showed up a full week after my account was debited.
Thats all true. And is fully stated as such on my WEB site and always has been. Special arrangements can be made ahead of time, not after the fact.
The real issue was dead plants, small plants, and missed plants on the order. When I sent an e-mail, the reply I got was basically one of pretty hefty insult, and a claim that you had no idea who I was.
So you were upset because of the reply you got from an email where I did not recognize who you were? That is very regretable. If someone emails me out of the blue without identifying who they are or the order in question, date of the order, etc, I have no idea who they are or if it is a crank or what. I can not imagine why I would have purposely insulted you. It is real easy to mis read the tone or meaning of an email.

I didn't know who you were if that is what I said. Why would you reley soley on email if you had that serious issues? Why not call me? Did it ever occur to you that I may have never gotten that email, may have been lost, deleted, or maybe I did reply to it and you never got the email? I get hundreds of emails every day. Email is the most unreliable form of communication out there. This whole thing may have been just a simple mis communication. If I had talked to you on the phone it would have been quickly addressed.
Roan, I am sorry for hijacking the conversation. Truly biotope native plants are rarely available in the hobby. The only plants that are available commercially are those that are grown commercially either in the USA, Asia, or Europe. What is "rare" in this country may be common in Asia simply because of availability. From your picture, Aponogeton bullosus looks something like A. bovinianus, but looks almost identical to Cryptocoryne crispulata var balansae. I have glossostigma. If you look at my site, all my imports are either listed in the catagories or under specials.

Good company. Run by Sheri and Hope. Sheris Father started the business over 30 years ago. They used to be a wholesaler before they started the internet business. They have a lot of good common stuff.
