Arowana not having food for one week

Definitely sounds like a water parameter issue. I could be wrong, I'm allowed.
Trouble shooting the issue. Feeding it can cause the spike. Normal behavior
is swimming in the top part of the water column.
Live feeders and allowing your Arowana to feed when it needs. don't forget
to feed the feeders, a pinch of flakes.

A hood is very important. They love to rocket launch themselves out of the aquarium.
A night light is important or else you'll here the fish banging it's head on the hood.
