Axolotl Babies: Journal with Photos

A few might. Axolotls are pretty good at positioning themselves so that fish swim by the glass and then they get eaten. They also prowl at night and get em' while they sleep. Only the wiley survive for long.

Update..

Well I think there's only 4-6 axolotl babies left. That's alright though, they are looking reasonably healthy.

Anyway, today I bought a few plants from the LFS for the parents tank.. (None for the babies because the snails would eat them)

Photos are here....

Also, Iif you could identify them that would be great!

Thanks!

Umm, the light green one looks like moneywort? or penny wort.

yeah, it looks like it :)

Honestly, give the plants a few days to "relax" and straighten out. Also - break up the clump of plants more. This will help get light to the lower leaves so they don't die off (and help with ID). But that red/green one could be ludwigia repens.

Yay plants! :duh:

by the way... that green plant looks nothing like my moneywort. Clearer & closer pics of the leaf structure may help. :)
