Baby update

Still not letting me... I'll try again in the morning.
Today I moved the biggest baby... maybe 1.5" - 2" back into the top pond section... when I cleaned it out last weekend I found a baby that hid from me so he's still in there too... hopefulle he'll stay away from the fall that will put him un with the big fishes... he might still be bite sized.
Also moved 2 from the little baby tank to the big baby tank... they were being bullies.
Last week the big fishes were frisky and produced me another batch of eggies.... I put the plant they were on into a clean bucket with an airator in the basement. they hatched about 2 or 3 days ago, still too tiny for the little baby tank. Gonna leave the plant in the bucket til I move them that way they can eat whatever crud is on the plant. I'm sure it's delicious. There's probably 30 - 50 of them. I'm thinkin that they're from my Shubunkin and the big white goldfish... my mom said she saw them flopping around in the plant the most. I guess we'll wait and see....
So anyways I can start to tell which babies have the Shubunkin mommy... it's a lot of fun. I have mostly full goldies though... I don't know if the half Shubs didn't survive or didn't get fertalized... My Shubs never seemed "in the mood" so who knows... lol.

Tastey, you can't upload via album at the moment without it going erroneous in the operations. Rachel referred to clicking "Post Reply" here and then hit "Manage Attachments".
