Well I had a few casualties... and bad spelling... lol.
One of my bigger babies died, don't know when. Saw it being picked at tonight.
5-ish of my smaller ones have died in the past few days. Took filter things out and cleaned them off. Hope that helps. Not trying to disrupt nature too much. I think i've done enough of that as it is.
Can't tell if I've lost any newborns yet. Still looks to be 30 - 50 of them happily swimming in their bucket with the plant and airator. The plant on the other hand is not happy at all. I have to keep it in the basement cause the water will stay between 70 and 80 degrees, but there's not much if any light in there. Trying to think of alternatives to the big pond plant... Maybe I could find some inexpensive aquarium plant somewhere? Money's been tight lately, can't spend too much.
Might clean the pond out this weekend to check on the big baby I put in the top part... Wishin I had enough for a uv filter... soon I hope! I'm begining to hate cleaning the pond. Did I say I got lilly pads for the pond yet? If not I got them from my dad. His pond was so full of them that you couldn't see the fish. He tried to get me a chunk of his yellow and one of the pink.. The pink flowers are perdy. My daughter likes the yellow, it's her fav color.
