Bigest tank

The biggest I have seen at a LFS was for sale. It was 256 gallons all-glass aquarium.

The biggest tank ever was a coral/sw tank at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium. It was at least 200 feet long, 40 feet high, and 60 feet wide. Massive, it even has bleachers along it to watch it for hours. It had a giant sea turtle in it, thousands of fish. Some like a square yard in area.

They also had an open air Manatee tank with many florida native fishes.

**** what i would do to have the room and the flow to build one of those 1700 gallon shark tanks...then i could put bubbles (my red snakehead) in there with a couple other big fish...haha...heavens playground lol

thats nothing!!! when i was doing work experience in year 10 i went to the sydney aquarium and they said to me you can either feed the fry, tank maintinence,or clean the glass i picked maintinence so i could go in the water and it took me hours to do the area i was told too do mainly cause i was to busy playing with the sharks and turtles but when i saw the angle shark thats when i wanted out that was huge and UGLY:shake: :shake:

Just thought I would share my current 770gallon aquarium project

Dean,
I have toyed with the thought of putting several hundred neon tetras if I didn't go salt water :D ...definitely save me some $$$$'s in the equipment phase of this project for sure ;)

Sensei_the_dojo
Thanks for the kind comments, btw what does the kowtow tag do/mean?

Thanks

Twize,

You're welcome. The tag doesn't "do" anything htlm-wize. Just threw it in there as a way to show my "virtual kowtow" (touching of forehead to ground in great reverence of your awesome fishy project). ;)

BTW - I'd go for the several hundred neon tetras, or harlequin raspboras, but hey I'm kinda weird that way.

There is my project in a few years. Gonna be a FW but maybe a bit smaller, say 600. Got an arowana that will need it. I've got a lot of frequent flier miles, let me know if you need a hand, would love to help. That is absolutley gonna be the bit**in tank dude.
