Bigest tank

I am so envious of you Twize. I will have that. I will build my house AROUND the tank.... and have a tank in every room...... and make all my walls into tanks.... and make my pool into a giant tank.... and the floors will be glass so you can see into tanks below you....


Maybe i should just buy a submarine and go live in the ocean. :D
 
Actually, I do hope that in about 5 years I can build a house around a 600 and 400. Saw a bit**in house in Malibu that had a 500 above the fireplace. That was awsome. Had a bunch of african chiclids. I'd like to have 2 huge tanks like that, but ain't gettin rid of my 150, 10 and 5 either.
 
I built a 340 gallon pond type aquarium in my basement, just framed it and lined it. Had all kinds of nice fish in it, mainly south americans, until an ice storm took out the power for 12days and they all froze. Now all that is in it is a channel catfish, jaguar, and a 2' mud cat I caught.

Also have a 135g that is fresh, but will go salt in a few months.
 
My LFS in Manly, Sydney has an extremely big tank.
I think it's around 4500 litres (1188 gal). I'm not terribly sure, but if I go down this weekend I'll take some pics and post them up.

It's FW and has a quite a few schools. Although the stock is constantly changing of course. :D
